Towards the end of movie advertisements on TV, they alwayz say Charcters wanted. What do they mean by that.
Is Wanted destined to fail at the box office? Because everyone can see from the Wanted movie trailer that this is not a comic book adaptation - I don’t care who you are, if you like it or if you hate it - this movie is not a live-action version of the graphic novel.
My prediction is that it will be a huge success. Not among Mark Millar fans, necessarily, but among the general moviegoing public. Obviously, the film was made to appeal to the masses and they do it well.
It looks like a good movie: big name stars (Angeline Jolie specifically), action, guns, fast cars, and good writing. I think it will do well and I think it will be entertaining. But from what it looks like, this is just another action flick and is not a comic book adaptation in the truest sense.
It won’t fail on a profitability level or from the perspective of being a good movie, but it will fail in the eyes of Wanted purists everywhere.

All I remember about this movie is in one scene John is being chased or running through a large house or castle. It is set in Edwardian/Victorian England (I think) as there seems to be many maids dressed in period costume running about also. In one scene I remember the maids are all lined up being reviewed by the lady of the house.

I am thinking set in 1900 period. Maids I remember being Victorian (black dress, long frilly white aprons, caps with ribbons.

Here is a picture from the filming of Wanted in Chicago. This shows a scene with Angelina Jolie driving a car.
Wanted’s Fox won’t be black? There’s been some consternation regarding the choice of Angelina Jolie playing the Fox in the upcoming Wanted Movie.
Some bloggers have expressed their opinions that the Fox should be black (or at least Puerto Rican according to one blogger), because the character is dark-skinned in the comic book.
Do I agree? While I see their point and agree totally that the character should have been kept true to the comic book…I like Angelina Jolie and think she can fill the role nicely.
