icegurl356 asked:

Sooo…in my history class, my final is making a movie about a subject we learned in the class. Me and my partner chose the Korean War. Do any of you have suggestions of scenes, plots, etc. that would be SUPER cute and funny to watch? I want tons of ideas so I can make THE best movie I’ve EVER made!
I’m doing a REmake btw. Not anything to hate on me for. Every movie has got to have something funny and cute.

Im sorry but you cant make a cute movie out of war. A good idea I have always had but never seen anyone do is a section about the perspective of the opposition. Im sure the N. Koreans had the same view on us as we had on them.

Well Americans have a way of portraying Americans as invincible and good guys to the very end. Just look at all the BS Chuck Norison Movies. Missing in Action, Invasion USA, ext. MAybe u can make the Korean plp look like rambo this time.

Yes, indeed, the Korean war was super cute and funny. The soldiers were happily dying, the cute bullets were cheerfully penetrating the skulls of the men and women who were waiting for that moment of joy and happiness when they could see their relatives dying in convulsions in front of their eyes… The amputated limbs dancing around while the mutilated bodies were offering themselves to the flies, the birds and the worms in a perfect harmony.
Did you get my drift? Gee, the kids today!

lol do u mean cute as in sad but sweet touching feeling? Why did u pic the korean war? Thats like so hard because it is labeled “the forgotten war”. One thing u can do is like show all that sad parts and play the taps as the background music and show like all the harshness of war.

My dad was in the Navy during the Korean war. He was on the USS Juneau, a light battle cruiser. Though never prooved, they may well have been the first US military to fire on the enemy in the Korean war. They are best know as “the Gallopping Ghost of the Korean Coast”

Here’s how…They started their mission at the south end of the war zone by shooting rounds of ammunition into North Korea by day. Then when night came, they would travel as fast a possible to the northern end and shot rounds into the enemy from there. When night fall came they would repeat the process. This went on for several days. It seved to confuse the enemy because they thought there were several ships shooting at them, when in fact, there was only one !

Interesting story, and all true. Bet you can come up with something for this ! Good Luck !

cute and funny would be: cute and funny blonde chics going to harvard law school… oh wait, that’s been done already.
There is one funny story about the Korean war. I didnt read the book but a friend that read it several months ago related the story to me: During the march of the “frozen chosen” many of the Marines suffered from frost bite, some times the frost bite was mortal.(can you imagine, freezing to death?, no you cant.) Every Marine wrapped anything they could around themselves and wore all of their uniforms layered on top of each other, with blankets and paper stuffed inside. The Marines urinated on themselves, a lot of them did. Later a female news reporter asked one Lcpl, how come they did that? The Marine replied “Ma’m, have you ever tried to get six inches of DI*K out of 8 inches of padding?” That’s funny.

You could try watching old episodes of MASH for ideas. It was set during the Korean war and incorporated some real incidents into storylines.
